Micrology Laboratories
manufactures Easygel® Coliscan® media. Coliscan ®
media incorporates a patented combination of color-producing
chemicals and nutrients that mark Coliforms and E. coli in differing
colors for easy identification and isolation. This is the E.
coli test that is the basis of the Laboratory In A Box
Test Kit, by The Florida Institute of Mold , designed for the
non-specialist.
E. coli/Quantitube® Medium This medium indicates and identifies
the presence of E. coli in a test sample. The E. coli form small, dark
teal green colonies with a teal halo, while other members of
the Enterobacteriaceae grow as dark red colonies without a halo.
For optimum results, the medium should be incubated at a temperature
of 35 C, and results counted at 24-48 hrs. The teal green color
(from the chromogenic substrate used) is specific for the enzyme
glucuronidase, which is virtually exclusively found in E. coli
among the coliforms
.

Identification E. coli Bacteria Test 16 Hour
Managers may now perform sampling analysis, rapid identification(16-24
hours) and reporting of contamination levels or the absence thereof
of E. coli, Coliforms, Salmonella and Aeromonas with scientific
reliability, accuracy and creditability
The Laboratory in a Box makes it easy for your existing
personnel to perform this ever increasingly important reporting
of positive/negative Coliform contamination.
Finding small areas of E. coli contamination in a crop and
taking appropriate action could prevent a recall. You no longer
need to wait for laboratory report; you can now accurately determine
positive/negative E. coli contaminated or E. coli clean in as
little as 16-24 hours, no laboratory needed.
Culligan TK-2 Water Quality Test Kit and Analysis:
The Culligan Water Test Kits help determine the contaminants
in your household water supply. This easy to use water quality
test kit contains the most commonly used tests in water quality
analysis. It takes only 15 minutes to complete the water analysis
testing and determine the chlorine, iron, nitrates, hardness,
and ph levels in your household water. Detailed instructions,
test tablets, and test bottle are included with the water test
kit.
Once you have completed the water quality
analysis and determined the problems with your household water,
search Waterfilters.net for a water filter that purifies your
water. There are many water filters available that remove or
reduce chlorine taste and odor, mercury, zinc, lead, particulates,
sediment, herbicides, and pesticides. Our goal is to make your
water safe to drink, cook with, bathe in, and play in.
